Currently living in the San Francisco Bay Area, DJ El Guapo has been in the latin dance scene for over 20 years. He has become one of the most popular bachata DJs in the world. With an extensive musical background, DJ Hong's mixes reflect his diverse interests as well as his musical background as a violinist, bassist and drummer in both jazz and funk settings. He has been featured at events such as the SF Bachata Festival, SF Salsa Congress, Salt Lake City Salsa Congress, and the US Salsa Open. Being one of the top DJs in the Bay Area, Jazzy Jez DJed with some of the top touring musicians in the industry to include Grupo Niche, Luis Enrique, Eddie Santiago, Maelo Ruiz, Jose Alberto "El Canario", Tito Puente Jr., and Spanish Harlem Orchestra. He is known for electrifying the crowd with his brand of bachata, "salsa dura", mambo, cha-cha-cha, and latin jazz.
